10 Ways to Motivate Yourself to Work Out

11:13

/It's Saturday! I don’t know why, today I feel like I want to talk about motivation to be fit and have a healthy life, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. It’s been more than a month since I started exercising almost every day, and I have to say that I am very proud of myself for having enough motivation to stand up here. Although I still have a long way to go, people say that when you do something for a month, this become part of your routine ;). But now let’s talk about the 10 ways that have motivated me to exercise->:

Otras cuentas: @gymvirtual_com, @msleamichele, @buildingmynewbody, @leahitsines./
/Follow people on instagram/other websites to help you motivate: Accounts as @kayla_itsines and @amandabisk post photos of the before and after of some girls who have decided to change their lives for a healthier one, and I find it very inspiring and makes you realize that if they can, you too! They are also constantly updating with quotes, routines, food and their own photos. Other accounts: @gymvirtual_com, @msleamichele, @buildingmynewbody, @leahitsines.

/Find motivational quotes: Find and select your favorite quotes, and keep these in mind or put them in a place where you see them every day (on the wall, as a wallpaper ...) Here there are some of my favorite quotes:
No cuentes tus sueños, muestralos. Don’t tell people your dreams, show them.
Cambia por ti mismo, no por otra persona. Change for yourself not for someone.
The harder you work for something the better you’ll feel when you achieve it.
I didn’t come this far to only come this far.
It has nothing to do with talent and everything to do with effort.
Solo fracasas cuando paras de intentarlo. You only fail when you stop trying.
Motiva tu mente, el cuerpo la seguirá. Motivate the mind; the body will follow.
If you can’t stop thinking about it, don’t stop working for it.
The only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen.
Si duele, funciona. If it hurt it works.

/Find music that motivates you: For me this is a very important step. Make your own playlist of music that gives you strength to continue and finish the workout. To the sound of good music you can do anything! If you are too lazy to create one, here it is my own playlist to help to motivate you, and here's another I found that I also love :).

/Buy sports clothes: Nothing motivates you more to be fit to go shopping clothes for training. At least, it works for me haha. Today, practically almost all known stores have a fitness section, and I always recommend the Lefties one, cause it has a lot of variety and at a good price.

/Don’t do always the same type of exercise or routine: I think this is important because if you do it, you're going to get tired faster, so try to change something of your daily routine, or just try a different one. You can also try to focus each day in one part of the body, and so you don’t repeat ;).

/Find something you like: If you hate going to the gym or just hate exercising, you just have to find something you like (or that you don’t hate so much). Try different sports or anything that makes you move and sweat. Personally, I LOVE doing zumba, since last year when I signed up to try it and now I couldn’t leave it for anything in the world :D . Just try!

/Rest once a week: After a week of training so much, reserve a day to rest. This will help you to recover strength and to begin the next day with double motivation.

/Be patient: Don’t compare your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 20. Obviously you’ll get to that level, but it takes time. So don’t give up when not seeing the results you expected and keep fighting. Just because you aren’t where they are, doesn’t mean you don’t have what it takes.

/Get your friends to join you: If you feel you don’t want to pass alone through this change to a healthy lifestyle, get your friends to do it with you. Thereby, you can motivate each other and comment how you are feeling, and even make your routine together.

¡No te rindas!/
/Get motivation from yourself: All of the things cited before were external factors and these will be useless if you don’t want to change anything. The most important motivation is the one that comes from your inside, your desire to change, to be fit and have a healthy life. So take out everything you have inside of you and transform it into enthusiasm :D. Don’t give up!
