¡Holaaaaa! Hoy quiero hablar sobre mi viaje a Lisboa,
concretamente sobre mi excursión a Sintra que fue una de mis partes favoritas.

Today I want to talk about my trip to Lisbon, specifically about my trip to
Sintra which was one of my favorite parts. I hope you find it helpful or, if
you’re not going to Portugal anytime soon, that you find a new place to add to
your list. Enjoy :D:
Para ir a Sintra cogimos el tren en la Estación Rossio. Creo
que el billete de ida y vuelta costo unos 4 euros aproximadamente. Cada hora (a
las en punto) salía un tren hacia Sintra, y tarda más o menos unos 45 minutos
en llegar. Una vez allí, fuimos a la oficina de turismo (muy cerca de la
estación) y allí compramos las entradas para el Palacio da Pena y el Castelo dos Mouros. Recomiendo comprarlas antes y así te ahorras las colas
de ambos sitios, ya que en la oficina no tuvimos que esperar. Después nos dirigimos
hacia la parada de autobús para ir a nuestro primer destino, el castillo. El autobús se paga justo al subir y nosotros escogimos el recorrido
circular que pasaba por el palacio y el castillo (hay otros recorridos que
puedes elegir ya según lo que quieras ver). El billete de autobús incluye la
ida y la vuelta y durante ese recorrido te puedes bajar en todas la paradas y
volver a montarte sin pagar nada más./
/To go to
Sintra we took the train at Rossio Station. I think the round trip ticket cost
approximately 4 euros. Every hour (o'clock) leaves a train to Sintra, and takes
about 45 minutes to arrive. Once there, we went to the tourist office (near the
station) and there we bought tickets to the Pena Palace and the Castle of the
Moors. I recommend buying them before and so you save both sites queues, as in
the office we didn’t have to wait. Then we headed to the bus to go to our first
destination, the castle of the Moors. You pay when you go up the bus and we
chose the circular route which stop in the palace and the castle (there are other
routes you can choose depend of what you want to see). The bus ticket includes
round trip journey during which you can get off at all the stops and get back
without paying anything more.
Nuestra primera parada, como ya he dicho, fue el castillo de
los Moros. El bus te deja en las afueras y para llegar al castillo tendrás que
andar un poco pero es un paseo que no tiene desperdicio con unas vistas
increíbles. Cuando llegamos al castillo dimos nuestras entradas (sin hacer
ninguna cola) y entramos. Ya queda poco de castillo pues es muy antiguo pero es
una visita que recomiendo enormemente. Las vistas son IMPRESIONANTES, sobre
todo si subes a la torre más alta (lo cual deberías hacer)./
/Our first
stop, as I said, was the castle of the Moors. The bus drops you at the
outskirts and to reach the castle you have to walk a little bit but it is a
walk that has no waste with incredible views. When we arrived at the castle we
gave our tickets (without waiting in the queue) and got in. Now little remains
of the castle as it is very old but it’s a highly recommended visit. The views
are breathtaking, especially if you go to the highest tower (which you should
do).
Cuando terminamos de ver el castillo, nos compramos un bocadillo
y cogimos el autobús hasta nuestra próxima parada, el Palacio Da Pena, el cual
creo que fue mi sitio favorito. De nuevo, hay que andar bastante hasta el
palacio, pues este está rodeado por un inmenso parque y el autobús te deja
justo en la entrada de este. Hay un pequeño autobús que te lleva hasta el
palacio, pero recomiendo no cogerlo, pues el parque es muy muy bonito./
/When we finished seeing the castle, we bought a
sandwich and took the bus to our next stop, the Pena Palace, which I think was
my favorite place. Again, you have to walk a little bit to the palace, because
this is surrounded by a huge park and the bus drops you right at the entrance
of this. There is a small bus that can take you to the palace, but I recommend not
catching it, because the park is very very nice.
Después de la caminata, llegamos al Palacio y nos quedamos
mudos al ver lo bonito que era. Primero visitamos los exteriores, que son lo
verdaderamente impresionante de la visita, y después entramos al interior, lo cual es muy interesante pues puedes ver todas las habitaciones del castillo, cómo
vivían, qué hacían en cada habitación, etc, etc. Personalmente, creo que este
palacio es una visita OBLIGADA si vas a Sintra. ¡No te arrepentirás!/
/After the
walk, we reached the Palace and we were speechless seeing how beautiful it was.
We first visited the exteriors, which are the most truly impressive thing of
the visit, and then we walked inside, where it was very interesting because you
can see all the rooms of the castle, how they lived, what they did in each
room, etc, etc. Personally, I think this palace is a MUST if you're going to
Sintra. You won’t regret it!
Volvimos a coger el autobús que nos llevó de vuelta al
pueblo. Lo recorrimos y visitamos durante un rato (que es preciosísimo),
comimos pastelitos de nata y queijadas, y luego nos dirigimos hacia Quinta Da
Regaleira (muy bien señalizada)./
/We got back
on the bus which takes us back to the town. We walked for a while and visited
the village (which is so precious), ate cream cakes and queijadas, and then
headed towards Quinta Da Regaleira.
Vale mucho la pena visitar este sitio. Es sencillamente
increíble. Con la entrada te dan un mapa de todo el recinto, en el que te
sugieren una ruta para que puedas ver todo. Hay un palacio, una cascada,
cuevas, túneles MUY oscuros, pozos, torres… ¡todo parece sacado de una película!
Recorrimos lo máximo que pudimos pero el cansancio empezó a aparecer y volvimos
a la estación de tren con muy buen sabor de boca./
/So worth it visiting
this site. It is simply amazing. With the entry you get a map of the entire
place, which suggest you a route so you can see everything. There is a palace,
a waterfall, caves, very dark tunnels, wells, towers... everything seems like you
are in a movie! We walked as far as we could but fatigue began to appear and we
returned to the train station very happy with this visit.
Sintra es un pueblo precioso y es una visita que no te
puedes perder si vas a Lisboa, al menos durante un día. Lo único malo que
encontré es que cuando fuimos estaba muy masificado de turistas, pero por lo
demás se disfruta desde el primer momento./
/Sintra is a lovely town and a visit that you cannot
miss if you go to Lisbon, at least for a day. The only bad thing I found is
that when we went, it was very crowded with tourists, but otherwise I enjoyed
it since the very first moment.
