5 TV Shows To Watch This Fall

¡Feliz martes! ¿Quién mas es de los que están deseando que termine el verano y comience el otoño para ver los nuevos capítulos de su serie favorita? Sí, todos, lo suponía. No todo de la vuelta a clases es malo ¿no? Pues en honor a todas esas series que vuelven o empiezan este mes, he hecho una lista de aquellas que no puedo esperar a ver o bien que pienso que son perfectas para ver/rever en esta época.

Happy Tuesday! Who else is looking forward to when summer ends and autumn begins to see the new episodes of your favorite TV show? Yes, everyone, I thought so. Not everything about the return to classes is bad right? Well, in honor of all those TV shows which are back or begin this month, I made a list of those I can’t wait to watch or that I think are perfect to watch/rewatch at this time of the year.

1. Velvet: Serie española ambientada en el Madrid de los años 60, trata sobre la historia de amor entre el hijo del dueño de las Galerías Velvet, uno de los imperios de moda más grandes de la época, y la hija de uno de sus trabajadores. Si esto no te ha bastado para, al menos, echarle un vistazo, no sé qué lo hará. Y no solo te encantarán los protagonistas, sino que los personajes secundarios son maravillosos, creo que hasta me gustan más que los principales. Acaba de empezar la tercera temporada y no puedo estar más emocionada por los siguientes capítulos :D. ¡Recomendasíma!/

/Spanish TV show set in the Madrid of the 60s, it’s about the love story between the son of the owner of the Velvet Galleries, one of the biggest fashion empires of the time, and the daughter of one of his workers. If this was not enough for you to at least take a look, I don’t know what will. And you'll love not only the main characters, but the secondary characters are wonderful, I think I even like them more than the main ones. The third season has just started and I cannot be more excited about the following episodes :D. Highly recommended!

2. Crónicas vampíricas/The Vampire Diaries: Puede parecer la típica serie sobre vampiros, y lo es, pero tiene algo que te mantendrá sin moverte del sillón durante las seis temporadas. Una humana, dos hermanos vampiros, uno bueno y otro malo, y un triangulo amoroso son algunas de las muchas cosas que te puedes encontrar en esta serie. La séptima temporada empieza el 8 de octubre, ¡y tengo muchísimas ganas!/

/It may seem the typical TV show about vampires, and it is, but it has something that will keep you without leaving the couch for the six seasons. A human, vampire brothers, one good and one evil, and a love triangle are some of the many things you can find in this TV show. The seventh season starts on October 8, and I can’t wait!

3. Arrow: Tengo que reconocer que cuando empecé esta serie, la dejé de ver durante un tiempo, porque por alguna razón que ahora no logro comprender, me aburría. Pero gracias al entusiasmo de una amiga, la continué y ¡menos mal! Arrow es una especie de Robin Hood que pretende hacer justicia en su ciudad pero pronto se convierte en una figura muy importante con no pocos problemas. Es una serie a la que no le falta acción, drama, amor… y en muchas ocasiones te quedarás con cara de ‘’¿qué acaba de pasar?’’. ¡No puedo esperar al 7 de octubre para la nueva temporada!/

/I have to admit that when I started this TV show, I stopped watching it for a while, because for some reason that I can’t understand now, I got bored. But thanks to the enthusiasm of a friend, I continue watching it and thank goodness! Arrow is kind of a Robin Hood who intends to do justice in his town but soon he becomes an important figure with a lot of problems. It is a TV show that doesn’t lack of action, drama, love... and many times your face will be like '' What have just happened? ''. I cannot wait to October 7 for the new season!

4. Scream Queens: Nueva serie que empieza el 22 de este mes y a la que le tengo muchísimas ganas porque: 1. Es del creador de American Horror Story y Glee. 2. Salen Emma Roberts y Lea Michele, dos de mis actrices favoritas (y Nick Jonas♡). 3. Por este pedazo de tráiler. No me digáis que no os llama la atención;)./

/New TV show beginning on 22 this month and I’m so looking forward to watch it because: 1. It is from the creator of Glee and American Horror Story. 2. Starring Emma Roberts and Lea Michele, two of my favorite actresses (and Nick Jonas ♡). 3. For this awesome trailer. Do not tell me that you are not interested in it;).

5. Gossip Girl: Por último, aunque sé que acabó hace un tiempo, no podía no añadir mi serie favorita ya que me parece perfecta para empezar o volver a ver en esta época del año. Ambientada en Manhattan, Nueva York, sigue la vida de un grupo de adolescentes ricos, cuyas vidas son el aperitivo favorito para la bloguera ''Reina cotilla''. Mucho drama, muchas fiestas y muchos vestidos alucinantes, ¡no podrás dejar esta serie!/

/Finally, although I know it ended a while ago, I couldn’t not add my favorite show because I think it’s perfect to start or to re-watch at this time of year. Set in Manhattan, New York, follows the lives of a group of wealthy teenagers whose lives are the favorite snack for the blogger ''Gossip Girl''. So much drama, so many parties and so many amazing dresses, you won’t be able to leave this show!

5 Movies To Watch In The Fall Time

Hoy es la clase de día que solo te apetece tumbarte y ver una película. Tal vez sea porque es un día de lluvia que te hace darte cuenta de que el verano se está empezando a marchar. Sea lo que sea, no podemos negar que el otoño ya está a la vuelta de la esquina. ¡No sabéis que ganas tengo! Y por eso, hoy os voy a hablar sobre 5 películas que creo que son perfectas para verlas en esta época, y para desconectar de todo el estrés que trae consigo septiembre ;). Ponte cómodo, haz palomitas, coge tu manta preferida y dale al play:

Today is the kind of day that you just want to lie down and watch a movie. Maybe it's because it's a rainy day and this makes you realize that summer is starting to go away. Whatever it is, we can’t deny that fall is just around the corner. I can’t wait! So, today I will talk about 5 movies that I think are perfect to watch at this time, and to disconnect from all the stress that brings September;). Put yourself comfortable, make popcorn, grab your favorite blanket and press play:

1. El viaje más largo/The longest ride: Obviamente en esta lista no podía faltar una película de Nicholas Sparks, de esas con amor, drama y un guapo protagonista ;). Perfecta para esas tardes otoñales en casa. Protagonizada por Britt Robertson y Scott Eastwood (ya vale la pena verla nada más que por este hombre♡), es una típica historia de amor entre dos personas muy diferentes, y a la vez, esta historia esta entrelazada con otra que ocurrió mucho tiempo atrás. Te gustará si buscas una película entretenida y bonita y ya has visto demasiadas veces El diario de Noah…/

/Obviously in this list it couldn’t lack a film by Nicholas Sparks, those with love, drama and a handsome protagonist ;). Perfect for those autumn evenings at home. Starring Britt Robertson and Scott Eastwood (worth watching only because this man is in it ♡), is a typical love story between two very different people, and at the same time, this history is entwined with another that happened long ago. You'll like it if you're looking for a beautiful entertaining movie and you've seen too many times The Notebook…

2. Big Hero 6: No es ningún secreto que me encantan las películas de animación. Y esta se ha convertido en una de mis favoritas. No sé si será por lo emotiva que es, por los personajes (especialmente el robot Baymax), por los momentos tan divertidos, por la acción o todo en conjunto. Pero esta película no decepcionara a ningún fan de Disney, de eso estoy segura./

/It's no secret that I love animated movies. And this has become one of my favorites. Maybe because it’s so emotional, because of the characters (especially the Baymax robot), because of so many funny moments, because of the action or a combination of all of these. But this movie won’t disappoint any Disney fan, that's for sure.

3. Ahora me ves…/Now you see me…: ¡Oh dios mío esta película! No sé ni por dónde empezar para explicar por qué me gusta tanto. Nunca he visto una película así, y eso es un punto a favor por su originalidad. Trata sobre un grupo de magos, trucos de magia, policías, persecuciones… No quiero contar mucho porque lo bueno es verla sin saber nada de ella, e ir flipando en cada escena. Solo voy a decir: ¡Qué final!/

/Oh my god this movie! I don’t know where to begin to explain why I like it so much. I've never seen a movie like this, and that's a plus for originality. It's about a group of wizards, magic tricks, police, persecution ... I don’t want to say too much because it’s better to see it without knowing anything about it, and freaking out in every scene. I'll just say: What an end!

4. El club de los incomprendidos: ¿Una película sobre adolescentes en su época de instituto? Sí, por favor. Para mí, nunca pasarán de moda. Y esta concretamente, tiene algo que me enganchó desde el principio hasta el final. Así que no os dejéis llevar porque parezca la misma película de siempre, y dadle una oportunidad./

/A movie about teenagers in high school? Yes please. For me, they never go out of style. And this in particular, has something that hooked me from the beginning to the end. So don’t let it go because it seems like a typical movie, and give it a try.

5. Dando la nota/Pitch perfect: Y por último, otra de mis películas favoritas para aquellos que simplemente buscan echarse unas risas. Trata sobre el primer año de universidad de unas chicas que se apuntan a un grupo de canto a capela. Que mejor época que la de vuelta a clases para verla por primera vez, o por veinteava. Y si te has cansado de esta (aunque lo dudo) siempre puedes ver la segunda parte :D./

/And finally, one of my favorite movies for those who are just looking for a laugh. It's about the first year of college of some girls who join a group of a cappella singing. What better time than the return to school to see this movie for the first time, or the twentieth. And if you've tired of this (though I doubt it) you can always see the second part :D.
